Dear horse hobbyist,
Horses have been bred and used as working animals in Maria Farm since the time my grand-grandfather established this farm at the beginning of the republic. The oldest son of the family, my grandfather also served in chivalry and later on, when working in the farm, horses always played a significant role in his life. A horse was kept in the farm even during Soviet times. Hence the traditions and consistency are held in esteem in this farm.
At the beginning of 1990s Maria Farm gained new vitality. Tourism became one of the main fields of activity and the horse breeding tradition was restored. The very first horses arrived from Heimtali horse breeding farm and Mrs Maret Kärdi’s farm.
Since 1996, annual Maria Farm horse races are held in show jumping, gallop and dressage. We design and build new courses in order to create a contemporary equestrian centre. We have 130 hectares of land to use as paddocks. The forest and its paths just beside the farm make horseback riding even more irresistible.
Right now our activities include horse breeding, sales and equestrian sports. Our stables serve also as homes for the horses of other owners.
Mass tourism is not the aim of Maria Farm, instead we provide private and elite services for our clients. Horses are just one of such outputs.
Do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our utmost to satisfy your wishes.
Yours faithfully,
Enn Rand
Master of Maria Farm
